About Singapore

One of the 20 smallest countries in the world with a total land area of only 650 square kilometres. Singapore consists of one main island and 63 other tiny islands. It takes just one hour to drive end to end. Singapore has no seasons. It lies slightly more than one degree north of the equator and is hot and wet year round with an average temperature of 27c. The days and nights are always about the same length.

The tallest point in Singapore is Bukit Timah which is only 161 metres high and the tallest buildings can not be higher than 280 metres due to air traffic control restrictions.

Not only is Singapore's seaport one of the busiest in the world, its airport has been rated as one of the best there is.

Modern City Outlooks Versus Natural Sceneries

.

Below are a selection of photos on some of the Singapore prominent places. As a modern city, Singapore is trying to preserve some of its limited natural environment. If you are an expatriate working in Singapore, here is a good chance for you to see some of the valuable natural scenery's photos as well as modern city outlook photos taken by some amateur photographers. Hope you would enjoy them.
